The Opportunity Strategy is an actively managed concentrated portfolio of individual stocks. The strategy may also invest in mutual funds, individual bonds, ETFs, MLPs and other securities. Its objective is to generate long-term capital appreciation and to outperform the S&P 500 over the long-term and during down market years.
The strategy will generally contain over 50% in equities, but prospective investors should be aware that this is a very flexible strategy. The manager has the ability to invest primarily in individual bonds, hedge the portfolio with inverse equity ETFs, invest in commodity and currency ETFs, short stocks and/or to be heavily in cash.
